Caitlin Gilbert

Associate Provost, Head of School

Caitlin Gilbert is the Associate Provost, Head of School, Head of St. Anne’s House, and a member of The President’s Cabinet at The Saint Constantine School. She had the honor of designing the PreK – 12th grade curriculum and culture for Saint Constantine as one of the founding leaders of the school, and has grown more and more passionate about the power of a classical education rooted in love, play, and the work of God. Caitlin has a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from Talbot School of Theology, and a degree in English Literature from Biola University, where she is a perpetual member of The Torrey Honors Institute. Before helping start Saint Constantine, she was the founder and former director of The Academy, an innovative, great books-based, dual-credit program at Houston Baptist University. She serves as one of the Directors of Staff and Student Care for Wheatstone Ministries and has contributed a chapter on Lent to Let Us Keep the Feast a book about the Christian church year. She writes and speaks regularly on education, the priorities and significance of childhood, personal growth, and helping kids grow into mature Christian adults. Alongside her duties as Head of School, she teaches great books and literature.

Cate loves going to work everyday with her husband David and their young children, Galen, Theodore, and Virginia. She likes to cook, read, and clean house (really!) and can’t wait for the day when they’re able to live just a little outside the city again.
