Trey Allen is a doctoral candidate in the Doctor of Ministry program at United Theological Seminary, where his dissertation is on the Catechumenate of the third through fifth century. He holds a Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary, where he was Master’s Scholar recipient, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University. His passions include studying church history, teaching the Biblical narrative, and Korean food.
Trey also currently serves as a pastor in Sugar Land. Before that he lived with his wife, Erin, in Kampala, Uganda for several years while serving as a missionary and pastor at University Community Fellowship and teaching courses at local seminaries.
Trey loves to be at home, and relishes cooking in the kitchen while listening to audio books. He also enjoys binging shows with his wife, reading, running, and getting pushed into the pool by his kids, Zion and Phia.
